Children’s Ministry

Many children today thing that church is dry and boring.  They think that attending church is something to be endured.  This is not the case for children who attend Jordan Baptist Church.  Services and activities are always entertaining as well as educational.  Your children will never have more fun learning to be like Christ!  Not only are children taught Bible principles at Jordan Baptist Church, but they also have FUN!  At Jordan Baptist Church we believe that children are an important part of our church.  It is our role to assist the parents in training and equipping them for the future.  The following is a list of our children’s ministries:

Children’s Ministries:

Nursery

We value every child as a miracle from God! We recognize the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, child friendly place where you may feel confident that your child will be lovingly cared for.

Toddlers

Our toddler program uses crafts, play, and fun activities to help train your children while you enjoy the service.

Graded Sunday Schools

From 10:00 to 10:30 each Sunday, our children attend graded classes to learn God’s Word from dedicated and loving teachers.

Little Bears

Little Bears is a training program for boys and girls from K3- K5. It meets weekly during the school year on Sunday nights from 5:00- 6:00 p.m.

Baptist Boys Battalion

Baptist Boys Battalion is a training program for boys in grades 1- 6. It is geared to train boys in how to be men both physically and spiritually. It meets weekly during the school year on Sunday nights from 5:00- 6:00 p.m.

Blue Denim and Lace

Blue Denim and Lace is a training program for girls in grades 1- 6. We teach the girls crafts and home making tips that will help them for years. It meets weekly during the school year on Sunday nights from 5:00- 6:00 p.m.

Graded Choirs

There are two children’s choirs available - Cherub and Children’s. The children learn about music and singing from gifted and talented musicians. They also have opportunities to serve the Lord by singing at church functions.

Primary Church

Primary church is a specially designed church service for our K4- K5 children. It is structured on their level full of interesting stories, coloring, snacks, and games. It meets weekly on Sunday mornings during the main service.

Junior Church

Junior church is a specially designed church service for our 1st- 6th grade children. It is a structured church service on their level filled with singing, contests, and puppet shows. The sermon is also based on their level emphasizing the importance of obedience and other character building topics. It meets weekly on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Area during the main service.
